1. Patrons
reserving passes:
- must live in Malden (except Malden school teachers).
- must have a YA or Adult card that is in good standing.
2. Reservations:
- reserve in person or call the Information Desk.
- childrens’ museum passes are reserved in the Children’s room.
- accepted up to two months in advance from the current date.
- only one pass may be borrowed per family per week (with the exception of the Harvard Art Museum).
3. Pass Pickup
- must present library card to pick up the museum pass.
- if not picked up by the listed pick-up times, the pass will become available to eligible patrons on a first come/first serve basis.
4. Pass Returns
- return only to the Malden Public Library, Information Desk.
- only Sunday/holiday passes may be returned in the book bin in the envelope provided. A $5 fine will be charged for a pass not returned in the provided envelope.
- $10 fine will be charged for passes returned in the book bin on days other than Sunday/holiday returns.
- $5.00 is charged for any pass returned later than posted return time.
5. Lost Passes
- The replacement cost of the museum pass is charged for lost or destroyed passes.
6. Cancellations
- As our museum pass program is popular, we want to make the passes available to as many patrons as possible. If you find that you cannot use a pass on the date reserved, please call 781-324-0218 to change or cancel your reservation, so that others may take advantage of this service.
