Since 1995 the Wolverine Jazz Band has been entertaining lovers of Traditional Jazz all over Boston and southern New England. They also play Dixieland and Swing jazz styles. This concert will feature a quintet composed of trumpet, trombone, clarinet, banjo, and tuba.

For the past 20 or more years, bassist Ed Spargo has planted firm roots in the Boston area. 1998’s Invisible Man announced his skill as a composer. Versatile and exploratory, the CD traveled from jazz to pop to R&B to blues. His latest CD, Playroom, was the Boston Globe’s “Pick of the Week” in March 2007.

Originally from Perugia, Italy, Eleonora Bianchini is a young Italian singer who creates a warm and charming atmosphere through the sound of her voice. Eleonora is inspired by many Brazilian and Latin American artists such as Rosa Passos, Djavan, Caetano Veloso, Mayte Martin, Eva Ayllon.
