SUMMER READING PROGRAM:
Register your child for Summer Reading and receive a reading log. From July 7 to August 17, readers who read (and pre-readers who are read to) for two or more hours per week will be eligible for a prize each week, may enter weekly raffles, and attend the special ice cream party.
Summer library programming for children begins July 7. The schedule is now available in the Children's Room. Programs include the following:
SONGS AND FUN WITH TEETH
Monday, August 11, 6:30 p.m.
Our local dentist, Dr. David Leader, sings with his guitar and makes learning about good dental care very entertaining!
- Mondays: BubbleMania* (7/7); Kidstock! Musicals (2:30-3:00 p.m. on 7/14, 7/28, 8/11); Barefoot Arts Creative Movement (3:00 p.m. on 7/25); Bubble Garden Party (3:00 p.m. on 8/4)
- Tuesdays: Arts & Crafts (ages 3-6 at 10:30 a.m.; ages 6 and up at 3:00 p.m.)
- Wednesdays: Kids Dance Party at 3:00 p.m.; Family Game Night at 7:00 p.m.
- Thursdays: Song & Rhyme Time at 10:30 a.m.; varying afternoon activities
- Fridays at 10:30 a.m.: Magician Steve Rudolph (7/11); Wingmasters: World of Owls (7/18); Science program with Keith Michael Johnson (7/25); Animal Adventures (8/1); Pumpernickel Puppets (8/8)
- Friday, August 15 at 2:30 p.m.: Ice Cream Party for Registered Log-Keepers
